Just a quick note to let you I know how much I love Minutes Matter!  I have been a pretty faithful fan and user for about 8 years.  I have loved the program and sold many many window treatment jobs only because I had the wonderful software to render it! I have never not made the sale once I have shown them the before and after pictures side by side.

I have taught my self how to draw a window treatment and draw a floor plan with Studio in minutes. Prior to this, my floor plan outline was drawn by hand, walls sketched in with marker, mistakes were debilitating. Then I would use the magnet kit for furniture placement, however, if I need to copy my floor plan it was a challenge to turn it over since all the magnets would shift or move or drop off completely. I spent a lot of time explaining why there wasn’t perfection on the drawing. Also, all the sizes for furniture magnets were only close enough. I no longer have to explain to the analytics why the photo says 89” sofa and the floor plans say’s 90” sofa.

There is simply no better tool for my renderings than Minutes Matter Studio. I have a plethora of elevation and floor plan programs piled on my shelves that I really wasted my money on. Not true of Studio. I have been able to use this in every aspect of my business which includes interior design, real estate staging, and renovation projects. I have gained credibility with not only my clients, but the architects and builders that I am working with on larger renovation jobs. This program is so easy to use and so professional, I eagerly await all future ideas that you wonderful women think up for us to use! Thank You!!!!

I actually got a job using Studio during the trial period. It wasn’t a very good rendering, but it was good enough to help my client visualize what her window would look like with the window treatment she chose! That job more than paid for Studio. Thanks for a great product, from a wonderful company!

I just had to write to you to let you know just how much I love Studio! It is truly a fabulous program. I am still figuring it out and learning as I go. But I have to say it has been a great investment. And best of all……customers love it! I feel so much more professional being able to show a client how their window treatments or floor plan will look. To anyone who has to design any room in a home, these modules are fantastic! So easy and also great training. I also love all the up-to-date appliances, lighting and extras that were added to the new Kitchen module. Comes down to simply” LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT” Cannot wait for the bathroom module.

I highly recommend Minutes Matter’s QuickBooks & Quoting and Vickie. I just had Vickie give me a “Fresh Start” setting up a new company file. Vickie is a gem and takes all the stress and worry about digging into QuickBooks. She explains things in easy terms and you will be up and running in no time. She encourages you to post questions on the Minutes Matter forum as you run across them while using QuickBooks.

I wanted to let you know that Vickie is great!  The accounting side of having a business is not my favorite part, I would much rather be creating something with fabric!   It is a great feeling knowing that Vickie is available for support if I need it.  She is very knowledgeable and helpful about QuickBooks.  Thanks!

Does Custom Home Furnishings members and Interior Designers/Workrooms truly understand the power of a session with Vickie Ayres? Vickie has totally reunited me with my “mojo” after our 1 hour Quick Books and Quoting Webinar. I knew you and your team were great and of course, Merlyn, but the value of Vickie brings it all together. Maintaining the synergy of business, interior design, technology, vendors and client driven satisfaction has always been a little like a 3 ring circus for me. I own Minutes Matter and Quick Books to keep up with technology. I go to the forum now and then. The efficient techniques Vickie so effortlessly taught me are priceless. One example is… Vickie explained why I needn’t enter thousands and thousands of time consuming, vendor specific, one-time only items in the item list (as I had erroneously been doing for over 11 years) as I can just enter the category already set up in Quick Books and Quoting, and any details can be in the description for that particular project/client…ingenious. We get stuck in our own way sometimes. Prior to our private consult, I was overwhelmed with the idea of learning all I have to learn in just one hour. I have since realized that 1 hour is perfect since my focus would be waning if we went on for much longer. Vickie took the time to detail where to seek future assistance at my own pace and subject matter via the Forum and the Manual, etc. How liberating to “remove the mystery”. Thanks again for all you do.

I absolutely love this product! No design industry professional should try to function without it! As a former banker, I can attest to the importance of keeping good books. Being good in design is only half of the equation, without successful business management, you will not succeed. Everything is based on creating a budget, managing to that budget, and understanding where and why you are or aren’t making money. With this program, all the guesswork has been taken out and you can simply focus on what you love, design. The program is structured from the moment that you load it to capture all of the items we deal with everyday. Your support group is extremely knowledgeable and quick to reply. I can get a quote done so easily on a number of items while even on the phone with a client, understanding my hard costs and profits as well. Last but not least, my tax preparation was a snap this year and my accountant loves me again! Thank you so much Debbie and Vickie for having such a wonderful tool for me and my business!

I love being an Interior Designer, but my one shortfall is that I cannot draw freehand. The Minutes Matter program helps my clients visualize their projects and makes my job easier!! It also helps me when I’m indecisive about a size/length/width of a specific item; I can draw it, to scale, on a picture or my own “Minutes Matter” rendering. The patience and respect she displayed for each and every student (whether we deserved it or not…haha) made me want to do the best I could so as not to disappoint her. I so enjoyed Studio Level I Coaching Program. I have had Studio since Nov. ’08 but had not tried to do much with it because I just didn’t have the computer skills and did not really understand the tutorial dvd enough to feel comfortable. I had not attended any conferences due to the cost so I was excited when the program was offered. Merlyn was very thorough in her teaching and had the utmost of patience with all of us. She was even willing to give one on one instruction and had a homework help webinar! I have no complaints because I am so much further along than I ever thought I would be! I feel more comfortable with my general computer skills. I did not even know how to attach to an email! I appreciate Minutes Matter developing this Coaching Program and I appreciate the time that Merlyn spent as our coach! It was money well spent and I am looking forward to see if I can handle the Level II Program! But I feel confident that she will see me through. I was ready to give up a few times in the class but she was so helpful and saw to it that I kept trying and she gave me the confidence that I needed. The only regret I have is that it had to end! I was ready to learn more!

I can attest to the value of learning advanced techniques in Level II Studio Coaching with Merlyn. Recently after completing the program, clients are so impressed with the drawings they want the entire room as I have designed it in Studio! (The course has already paid for itself.) I have been a Studio user for many years, watching the tutorials and learning techniques on my own but nothing compares to the details Merlyn coaches you through in this program. The advanced coaching has brought my designs to a whole new level. I now have the skills to create extremely detailed designs with confidence and speed.

I feel a lot more confident in using my studio software and have amazed potential clients with renderings. The classes were well worth the price paid.

I learned so much that I ended up taking the Advanced Coaching Class as well, and I believe it has paid off. I can get renderings out so much faster, and they look so much more professional! I just finished this course and wanted to let you know how very glad I am that I took it. I have had Studio for about 3 years and have hacked my way through but with the focus on ‘virtual’ everything, I decided I should get more proficient with this tool if I wanted to be able to market my skills effectively. Merlyn is so well organized and knowledgeable but the big thing is she is an excellent teacher. It is one thing to know and it is a gift to be able to teach. She has helped me improve on my skills on perfecting my floor plans as well as elevations. I was always intimidated by the program and now I feel so much more comfortable with it, even though there is much more to learn.

I am almost amazed how much better I have gotten with just little effort of listening – applying new techniques. It has only been a few weeks now that I purchased the webinars. I even had enough confidence to enter the Srut Your Stuff contest. I couldn’t change the perspective of the window treatment in a bay window before.

Merlyn: Your segment on arranging pictures with Studio then transferring them to wall was brilliant. I  find myself using Studio for more than room renderings but I had not come up with that application. You continue to impress all of us. P.S. You All make a great team.
